1. I would describe it as a period of natural warming of the earth's atmosphere.
 2. No because I think it is a natural cycle that occurs between ice-ages.
 3. I makes the temperatures in summer hot and the winters longer and colder...may.
 4. I think we could put out an effort to discover alternative fuel and reduce emission.
 5. I think there are no bad influence yet.
 6. Research alternative fuel.
 7. The melting of the ice caps, animals near the ice caps dying.

Spoorthi--

Very nice reflection. Perhaps I should have had everyone post the whole final. This was very insightful, particularly your ideas about the introduction and how it really could use some narration to focus us in on our controlling idea. I think next year I'll allot more time so that there will be more time to revise after the rough cut viewing.

Have a great summer!

Spoorthi,
Thanks for visiting our class blogs. It sounds like your class learned a lot from your experience of making a documentary. In addition to the class that is blogging (Computer Applications) I also teach a digital video production class - so I know how difficult it is to make a film. Global Warming is such an important topic too. Just look how much everyone learned from watching "An Inconvenient Truth". Video is a powerful medium and can not only educate everyone but also move people emotionally. Will you be posting your video on YouTube? If so, drop us a line and we will watch it. We still have two weeks of school left.
Best of luck to you,
Mrs. Cassinelli

I like all the ideas that our group came up with but we decided to go with an idea Corrine came up with where we take Hollister bag representing our precious Earth and it being stepped on by a person with muddy shoes. The Hollister bag goes great because Hollister is a top brand of clothing that a lot of teenagers wear and the metaphor shows how even though the Earth is such a great place to live, we take life on Earth as being normal and changes occurring normal.

Can you be more specific about the content that you think will be helpful to your segment? This is where you write the stuff down so you don't forget it when you are editing!

also, go back and proofread!

In addition to your opinions think about the following in your responses:

1) what connections to other articles/sources have you found?
2) how will you use it in the documentary?
3) what further questions does it raise?

I really like the idea of smashing the cup. It's suttle, yet in your face at the same time.
